We'll Be Doing This Together

We'll Be Doing This Together, created and performed by Ann Kreitman, is an audience intervention that celebrates community.  Positioned in the audience with a microphone, the performer gives the audience simple participatory tasks that eventually lead the audience to create a play of their own choosing. As a white theatre creator in a predominantly black audience, We'll Be Doing This Together attempts to decolonize theatrical joy by eliminating boundaries between audience and performer.
